• PreFab processes and reconditions donated pre-loved clothing and accessories of good quality for re-sale at affordable prices at our shop at 73 Albany Road.
• Prefab will provide valuable work experience and accredited training in recycling and retail to YMCA’s homeless service users at its hostels in Cardiff
• Prefab will provide volunteering opportunities to the local community.

We need your unwanted clothes, hats, bags, shoes, scarfs, belts and any clothing accessories NOW! As well as looking out for our door-to-door collecting bags and large collection bins, you can drop your goods into our PreFab shop at 73 Albany Road – next to Clinton Cards and just up from Boots.

You can also drop off goods at either of our YMCA centres in Roath, Cardiff – The YMCA, the Walk (off The Parade) and The Ambassador YMCA 2 to 6 Oakfield Street,or even at our Recycling Centre at Unit 5, Eastmoors Business Park, Eastmoors Road, Splott, Cardiff.

Monday to Friday –
9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Currently clothing and textiles represent the largest bulk of waste to landfill sites. Through the reconditioning of these goods PreFab will also be helping to safeguard the environment by contributing towards the reduction of waste.

All income generated by PreFab will be directly reinvested into the project and into services for homeless people at the Cardiff YMCA Housing Association.

As a donator, purchaser or volunteer you can be part of an enterprise that will practically support homeless people and provide benefits to the local community and our environment.
