Our Roomsponsor Scheme gives you the chance to help a homeless person to get back on their feet again.

From as little as £10 a month you can help change a person's life.

The Roomsponsor scheme is a newly introduced concept and will help hundreds of people to get off the streets and get on with their lives.

FAQs

Will I be the only person sponsoring the room?

In most cases, we would hope that a number of people will sponsor one room.

Will the person in my sponsored room have my name and address?

No – any donation is distributed through our accounts department

How often will I receive feedback from the YMCA?

Feedback is sent out in a newsletter around three times a year, keeping you up to date with our latest developments, information about our residents and any new projects we are working on to tackle homelessness in Cardiff.

How long will a homeless person stay in a sponsored room?

For as long as they need to. Every person is an individual with individual needs. Some will stay for a few days while others may need to stay a number of months.
